A new religion!?

The Satanic Temple has been recognised as a new religion in the states. Founded in 2013 by Lucien Greaves and Malcolm Jarry. The Satanic Temple's mission is more politically charged than worship-based. Their website states its goals are to "encourage benevolence and empathy among all people, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense and justice, and be directed by the human conscience to undertake noble pursuits guided by the individual will." The church holds weekly congregations in Salem, Mass. It has openly rejected the notions of the Westboro Baptist Church AND it's insisted its not the same as the Church of Satan, which plays more on the pop-cultural aspects of Satani

Nicolas Cage Has Found The Power Of Music!

Music can be a great way to help mend a broken heart, as actor Nicolas Cage now knows all too well. The actor has now turned up twice at a karaoke bar in Los Angeles, and he's found his song of choice to soothe his woes in the Prince classic "Purple Rain." But Cage has put his own angry, semi-guttural touch on the song following his recent split from Erika Koike. The couple filed for an annulment four days after they wed. Memphis May Fire Cover Linkin Park - Yes or No??

Memphis May fire is the latest to take on a Linkin Park cover… and it's come with a mixed reaction. It's come in the wake of the one year anniversary of the death of LP frontman Chester Bennington. They band says their approach was to keep the cover true to the original and singer Matty Mullins does a great job handling the parts of both Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington. On the rap-focused sections, Mullins injects his own vocal personality with a bit more snarl to his inflections "A lot of times, when covering a song, you're doing it for fun or to showcase your skills as an artist," the frontman said. "But this specific opportunity was a chance for us to honor a band that has had a profo

Disturbed Have Had A Heart Warming Moment At Their Concert!

Disturbed has had an up close look at how their words and music have helped a family through one of the most heartbreaking moments of their lives. During their set at the Zenith on April 25, the band stopped the show after guitarist Dan Donegan spotted a family in the crowd, holding up a sign, a photo and baby Metallica onesie. Distrubed Singer David Draiman has recalled the moving moment on social media. Here's what he had to say: After we performed Hold on to Memories, Dan Donegan pulled me to the side, barely able to contain his emotion, because a family in the front row was holding up a picture of a baby and a onesie, of a child we were assuming they had lost. During the encore, we pulle

Dave Grohl & brandi Charlile Busking!

Busking is usually reserved for street musicians who are looking to scrape together some cash, not for two musicians with over 30 combined Grammy nominations…. Or perhaps not? It was in 2016 that Brian Johnson had to leave the ACDC Rock or Bust tour due to hearing loss. Now radio DJ Eddie Trunk has word that Brian Johnson will rejoin AC/DC on tour. "I think AC/DC it's pretty much a done deal that these guys are gonna make a record or have mad a record and a record is gonna come out," Truck said. "I think it's pretty much a done deal that AC/DC at the very least are going to release some sort of record and it'll be some sort of record and it'll be some sort of tribute to Malcolm [Young] just like Back in Black was a tribute to Bon [Scott]. Slash Says A Guns N’ Roses Doco Is More Likely Than A Biopic

Between Bohemian Rhapsody, The Dirt, and the upcoming Rocketman, it seems that rock biopics have become a bit of a movie trend as of late. This has fed straight into anticipation for movies about a ton of older rock bands, as watching the origin story of a band unfold on the big screen brings a strong sense of nostalgia to fans. But if you happen to be looking forward to a Guns N' Roses movie, don't get too excited just yet. Lead guitarist (and the heart and soul of the group), Slash, said a documentary about the band is more likely to happen, rather than a biopic. "I thought the Motley movie [Netflix's The Dirt] was great," the guitarist said in a recent interview. "It really took me back t

Kurt Cobain Is Not Defined By How He Died

Kurt Cobain was a complicated creative, a champion of outcasts, an enigmatic artist, a funny man with a macabre sense of humour, a father, husband, and a ‘probably bisexual’ band mate. Those who knew Kurt still fondly remember much more than a static masthead of the grunge tribe. In pop culture the conversation has definitely been overwhelmed by his death. We do know this: Cobain was born in Aberdeen, Washington, on February 20 1967 to the musical Cobain family. He started singing at two years old, picked up a drawing pencil even earlier, smoked his first j
