Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington's Found Dead At 41
Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, who sold millions of albums with a unique mix of hard rock, hip-hop and rap, has been found dead in his home near Los Angeles. He was 41.
The Los Angeles County coroner spokesman Brian Elias on Thursday said they were investigating Bennington's death as an apparent suicide but no additional details were available.
Bennington, who sported piercings and tattoos, struggled with drug and alcohol addictions at various times during his life. He was married to Talinda Bentley and is survived by six children.
The news, first reported by TMZ, came just hours after Linkin Park released a music video for Talking To Myself off the band's 2017 album, One More Light.
"Chester Bennington was an artist of extraordinary talent and charisma, and a human being with a huge heart and a caring soul. Our thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family, his band-mates and his many friends," Warner Bros. CEO and Chairman Cameron Stang said in a statement.
