LISTEN: Lj chats to Shelton Woolright from I Am Giant ahead of final tour
With one of New Zealand's favorite rock bands I Am Giant calling it quits and it causing mass heartbreak throughout the work place, we had to get Shelton Woolright on the phone.
The band have been around since 2008 with big hit singles such as 'City Limits, Transmission and Dead Flower' but they say their upcoming new album, Life in Captivity, will be their last.
Fans will have a final chance to see the band on their farewell tour in April, starting Thursday 5th April Tauranga – Totora Street. Followed by
Saturday 7th April Wellington - Homegrown
Friday 13th April Hamilton - Altitude
Saturday 14th April Auckland - Galatos
Thursday 19th April Nelson – Armadillos
Friday 20th April Greymouth – The Australasian Hotel
Sat 21st April Christchurch – Armadillos
It's sad they are leaving the music scene but it may not be forever! As the band wants to focus on their own things for awhile but aren't ruling it out all together.
