KISS appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night (5th November) where they joined forces with the host to perform an alternate version of ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’.
The Late Late Show wrote: ‘Let's face it: the older we get, the more difficult it becomes to rock and roll all night on top of partying every day.
‘In this special performance of "Rock and Roll All Nite" James Corden tries to introduce new lyrics for the KISS classic, but the band isn't having any of it.’
The rendition of the 1975 track sees Corden don KISS-esque make-up and outfit as he delivers lines about aging, including: “More than two drinks is a big mistake / Can’t fall asleep and get the worst headache / I got work tomorrow / Let’s not get crazy.”
Other lyrics include: “I wanna watch Ken Burns all night / And play golf every day” and “I gotta pee six times a night / ‘cause of my enlarged prostrate.”
KISS appeared on the show to promote their swansong End of the Road World Tour, coming to New Zealand to play at Auckland Spark Arena on 3 December 2019. Tickets are available from Ticket Master now.
