Bruce Dickinson stops Iron Maiden show after witnessing fan beaten by security.
Iron Maiden are currently on their Legacy of the Beast tour in the U.S. tearing up the stage and delivering epic performances to fans. A recent incident at a Tacoma, Washington, concert saw Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson stop the show. Dickinson addressed the crowd after he witnessed an assault on a fan who had the "shit kicked out of him by ten security guards". The band and crew members brought the fan backstage for treatment from medical professionals after the assault allegedly led to bleeding head wounds.
"This is not the fucking mixed martial arts," Dickinson voiced angrily into the microphone. "We've played to several hundred thousand people so far on this tour. This is the first time anything like this has happened." In fan-shot video, the crowd can be heard booing while the speech continued. "I don't know if this happens in this building all the time, I don't know if this is an act of fucking madness ... I hope that kid takes this building to the fucking cleaners."
Dickinson finished by telling the crowd that if they have any footage of the incident, the band would be pleased to use it in any way to help the victim get a proper settlement.
